The MUTEK festival in Montréal is internationally renowned for presenting outstanding and emerging artists in the field of digital creativity and electronic music. Combining concerts, audiovisual performances and conference formats, MUTEK is a multifaceted art experience that introduces original and visionary content to a wide variety of audiences. 2014 marks a momentous year for MUTEK, as the festival celebrates its 15th anniversary from 27 May to 1 June, joining forces with the Elektra festival on this occasion. Together, they create EM15, a major event that presents cutting edge local and international expressions of digital creativity at Montreal’s Musée d’art contemporain, and other iconic venues throughout the city.

MUTEK is also an international network, with regular festival editions taking place each year in Barcelona and Mexico City, as well as diverse MUTEK events taking place frequently all over the world.
